Biothane (PVC coated nylon / vegan leather) is waterproof, lightweight, not slippery when wet, incredibly strong, and most importantly does not retain smells.

Quick Release Carabiner clip - rated to 1000kg, literally a metric ton, and made out of aviation grade aluminum. Best of all you can open this clip even when the leash is taut.

6 feet sturdy PVC coated nylon webbing - rated "very not delicious" by a panel of esteemed leash chewers. The first ~18" (including traffic handle) is double-thick adding to chew-resistance*

*if your dog has carbide teeth and a gator jaw, they can chew through this - it's not "chew-proof", but it will put up a good fight.

Integrated D-ring on handle to clip your accessories, or create a cross-body loop during off-leash walking.
